Automated Herbicide Screening
Make confident efficacy decisions, identify killing speed, and scale your throughput

Making herbicide efficacy decisions based on subjective data is challenging and expensive. Our automated screening solutions reduce false positives and increase the number of chemicals screened, addressing the growing difficulty in finding and training employees. By optimizing the digital herbicide screening process, we provide the high-quality, objective data you need to promote the most effective chemicals confidently.

Powered by PlantEye, our tools empower small teams to manage experiments efficiently across various installations. With time-series data visualization and real-time data collection, you can quickly determine critical factors like killing speed. Our high standards of accuracy and reproducibility minimize the need for repeated trials, allowing you to scale your research without expanding your workforce.

Transfer the insights of elite scorers into 20 digital plant parameters using 3D & multispec

Elite scorers excel at identifying subtle differences in biomass, leaf area, and visual stress indicators like necrosis and chlorosis, translating these observations into valuable scores. Our 3D technology replicates this expertise by calculating over 20 precise and reproducible parameters, including digital biomass, leaf area, and height. Enhanced by multispectral data, it detects and quantifies health changes even before they are visible to the human eye.

"Accurately determining the killing speed is crucial. If we only measure two time points per experiment, we lack insights into the dynamics of the effect."

Proof-of-concept data demonstrating the effects of varying dosages of Paraquat herbicide on the target weed, Amaranthus, and the non-target crop, soybean (Glycine max). All treated Amaranthus plants exhibited complete mortality within 48 hours post-treatment. In contrast, soybean plants began to show signs of recovery three days after exposure to the herbicide.

Time series & real-time data:  Determine killing speed & shorten experiments

Time-series data enables you to accurately determine the duration required to kill the target weed and the recovery speed of key crops. Real-time data allows you to make decisions as soon as effects are observed, providing the flexibility to shorten your experiment or extend it to gather additional information.
